
Sarah is an American figurative artist who lives and works in San Francisco, California. She grew up in Arkansas during the turn of the century. At seventeen, she matriculated at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. She has lived in the United States, France, and Japan.
Sarah’s work explores the American cultural identity through her own Jewish-American perspective. She utilizes populist art styles and references subversive and iconic figures in popular culture and media to explore the vast and varied value systems in the United States and attempt to bridge the gaps.
